Eco-Friendly Packaging

The packaging used by LinenStill is made of fully biodegradable plastic bags, which means these bags can completely decompose into water and carbon dioxide. The main raw materials for these fully biodegradable materials come from corn, tapioca, and the like.

These materials are processed into lactic acid, also known as PLA. PLA has good biodegradability. After use, it can be completely decomposed by microorganisms in nature under certain conditions. The final decomposition products are carbon dioxide and water, which do not pollute the environment. This material is very beneficial for environmental protection and is widely recognized as an environmentally friendly material.

Plastic's decomposition takes decades, and as it breaks down, it releases harmful chemicals into the soil and atmosphere, threatening the survival of a vast array of species, including our own.

Thankfully, with increasing awareness of plastic's dire consequences, a positive shift is underway. Governments globally are enacting bans on single - use plastics, while individuals are increasingly opting for eco - friendly and reusable alternatives, particularly in the realm of food packaging.

Environmentally friendly packaging is an important part of the challenge of sustainability, which means increased costs. However, we firmly choose to be environmentally friendly because it is for nature and for ourselves.
